John Bond

is an illustrator, author, and artist based in Worthing on the south coast of the UK.

Originally from a small farm in the Cotswolds, John studied Illustration at Kingston University in London. He began his career at an award-winning creative agency, where he spent seven years designing and directing a wide range of broadcast, digital, and interactive projects.

Now working independently from his studio at Colonnade House, John creates picture books, collaborates with brands, and runs a popular online shop. His work has been exhibited in galleries around the world, and he has spoken at notable industry events including Pictoplasma, Glug, and Pecha Kucha.

His debut picture book, Mini Rabbit Not Lost, was published by HarperCollins Children’s Books in 2018 and was nominated for the 2019 Waterstones Children’s Book Prize for Best Picture Book.

John also illustrates the award-winning picture book series written by Peter Bently, including Dogs in Disguise (2021), Cats in Chaos (2022), and Hamster Heroes (2023).
